Harbor Industries is a family-owned, community-based, people-centric
corporation. Harbor was founded in 1946 by Henry T. Parker Sr. in Grand
Haven, Michigan. Today, Henry T. (Ted) Parker Jr. is the President and
C.E.O. The third generation of the Parker family is involved in taking
Harbor well into its next 60 years.
Harbor Industries began manufacturing greeting card fixtures for Norcross
Greetings with seven employees. Harbor started producing custom fixturing
for other customers fueling further expansion in the Grand Haven area.
In 1981, Harbor purchased a competitor and acquired the Charlevoix,
Michigan facility, Harbor North. Continued success in the point-of-purchase
display and store fixturing markets led Harbor Industries to the expansion
of the manufacturing facility in Charlevoix in 2000 and 2001. The new
state of the art facility is nearly 300,000 square feet with more than
14 flexible assembly lines. This expansion has allowed Harbor a greater
competitive advantage and has brought us one step closer to being the
Preeminent Leader in our industry.
Today, Harbor Industries is one of the largest manufacturers of custom point-of-purchase displays and fixtures. Combining ISO 9001: 2000 and a dedicated Team structure, our clients are assured quality service from design through installation.
Harbor Industries, Inc. is a proud member of the POPAI, NASFM, GIC, Instore Marketing Institute and Women In POP organizations.
