What better place for an inspired introduction than a cozy café? When GE was ready to launch its Café™ series of super-chic, professional-grade home appliances, the company teamed with Harbor Industries (we go way back, having worked together for more than 38 years) to develop a stylish, functional retail space that would give shoppers an idea of how good their kitchens could look.

To set a mood more boutique than big box, we designed and created a complete showroom-within-a-store featuring the full lineup of Café appliances. Accented by warm, rich finishes, it’s an inviting spot that draws people in—and helps them envision possibilities for their own home café (powered by Café, of course). By paying attention to touches both big and small, we captured the characteristics that make the kitchen—whether in a store or at home—a favorite gathering space for friends both old and new.
